Student Voice
Having a voice and sharing it in the correct way is an essential part of school life. We have a house senate for each of our houses. They discuss relevant school issues raised from the student body and propose suitable solutions. We currently have two member of the Hull Youth Parliament and the first ever Young People’s Mayor attends NSG.

Student Leadership
Confidence and self-esteem are key qualities we want to see our students leave school with. We offer over 20 different leadership positions within school and have some 300 plus students operating within these roles; providing the school with much needed capacity when events are on or visitors come to school.
